Francis “Frank” V. Dombroski 73 of Laurel Hill Drive, Woodstock Valley, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday morning after a two year battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Jackie (Romanski) Dombroski. He was born December 10, 1931 in Hartford. He had made his home in Woodstock Valley for the last 18 years, formerly of Hartford and Bristol. He worked for many years for the former Capital Lumber Company in Hartford and later for General Building Supply Company in East Hartford, he retired in 1996. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, birds and was an avid UCONN Huskies Fan. He leaves in addition to his wife – a son Michael Dombroski and his wife Jane of Bristol; a Daughter – Pamela Dombroski of Woodstock Valley; two brothers -Vincent Dombroski and his wife Edith of East Windsor; Albert Dombroski and his wife Theresa of Windsor Locks; a special aunt – Sandy DeMaio of Manchester; several nieces and nephews. At the request of Francis all services will be Private and burial at the convenience of his family. Donations may be made to his memory to the Bungay Fire Brigade 1256 Route 171, West Woodstock CT 06281.
