Rita treated us like family and it was always a joy to spend time with her and Art whenever they would come to Hagerstown to visit. She was always smiling even when she didn't feel well. She obviously LOVED her children and her grandchildren even the ones who adopted her :). Our hearts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time but it is comfoting to know she is in a much better place where there is no pain. God Bless you all and thank you for sharing Rita with us.

From an earthly perspective death looks like an end. But it is really a beginning, just as birth is. It is a step forward in Heavenly Father’s plan.
At death, your spirit leaves your body and moves on to the spirit world. This is a place of learning and preparation.
After a time, your body and your spirit will be reunited, never again to be separated. This is called resurrection. It is a gift to every person who ever lived, made possible by the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Rita played a key role in our lives. If it wasn't for her love of family, our family would have never healed. Thanks to Rita, my husband has a stronger relationship with his father, and for that I will always be greatful. She excepted us with open arms and after losing my mom in 2000, it has meant the world to me. I love you Rita and I love your family!! I promise to take good care of your twins!!!! God Bless!!
