Obituary of Dolores G. Kratz

Dolores G. Kratz, 65 of Putnam, died after a long illness at Umass General Hospital. Born July 7, 1940 in Woodstock, she was the daughter of the late Fortunate and Emma (Lamoreaux) Champayne. She lived in Putnam, CT all her life with her husband of 37 years, Victor J. Kratz. She enjoyed bingo, crocheting and her cats. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kratz is survived by three daughters; Doreen Cayouette, Billie Jo Wellier and her husband Gene of ME, Jackie Lee Beauvais and her husband Roland Jr., two sisters; Joan Parentiss and Geraldine Chouette, one brother Richard Leo Champayne, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Raymond Champayne predeceased her. Calling hours are 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, August 3, 2005, followed by a Memorial Mass at 8:00 pm at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT.
