Obituary of Eric T. Habel
Eric T. Habel, 46, formerly of 15 Valley Road, Dayville, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 16. Born March 18, 1959 in Boston, MA, he was son of the late Albert and Patricia (Reed) Habel.
He worked for the union as a journeyman carpenter, and part time for Ken Goulds firewood business, operating chainsaws and heavy equipment. He was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed shooting pool, was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time with the love of his life, his daughter, Breanna, and with family and friends. He was a friend of Bill Ws and was loved by all his friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves his daughter, Breanna Starr Habel and former wife, Sheila (Reynolds) Goudreau, two sisters; Linda M. Habel of Newburyport, MA, and Pamela G. Johnson of South Carolina, a niece; Christina Varnavore of South Carolina, and several aunts and uncles.
Friends and family may visit Saturday, August 27, 2005 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam.
