David Redman Family posted a condolence
Dear Von and Mary,
My family sends our thoughts and prayers to you. We will continue to think of you in the days, months, and years to come. Ray was a wonderful person and a great uncle. Some of my cherished memories are of him walking down the driveway calling 'come boss' to his cows. He would open the gate and the cows would follow him to the barn. My brother and I just tagged along and took it all in. I remember sitting and listening to Ray play his organ. It was apparent that enjoying music and sharing it with others was a big part of his life. Ray will be truly missed by many, but never forgotten. Debra Aikey posted a condolence
Dear Mary & Veronica:
You may not recognize my name, but I really hope you remember me. I am George Sweet's granddaughter, Debbie. My very heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your brother, Ray. I wanted you to know that some of my most cherished memories of my girlhood center on those times that my "Pippay" and all of you played in the band in Quaddick, CT. and I got to sit in and play the drums! My favorite piece, and I still hear it in my mind, was "Always". Thank you for being such a wonderful friend to my grandfather. He loved the times he spent with all of you each week. I wouldn't sell those memories of that time, not for anything. You have been thought of on many occasions throughout the years and I wanted you to know that. You are in my prayers. God Bless.
