Jeff White posted a condolence
Flo, Katherine and Laura,
Sorry I could not be there for the funeral, I was in Kansas at the time on my way to a job in CA with a company that Jim had told me about. Go figure.
I want you all to know that Jim meant a lot to me as a friend. We had similar interests. Jim never asked anyone for anything and had no hidden agenda, he was just what you saw. I will miss going to Evelina's for a sloppy egg sandwich with him. I would just sit and listen to Jim's experience and wisdom and advice that was far beyond his years. He was what a true friend is. I will miss him greatly and will keep you all in my prayers. Please keep in touch, I will still call from time to time and bother the answering machine. Take care of each other.
