Annette Hulefeld posted a condolence
I am and always will be my father's "favorite daughter" and I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for honoring my Dad with your presence at the wake and funeral. I wish I had everyone's addresses so that I could contact you in person. Please know that our family mourns with you on the passing of a loving "giant" - small in stature but huge in laughter, love, caring, and a belief in the quality of life. My father was a kind, good man - overlooking faults - he saw the best in everyone. The best way to remember him is to be kind to each other, smile even when you want to be grouchy, laugh at all the ordinary things of life, eat home made baked beans, and if you are a golfer - go for it!!!!
Dad will be missed and at the same time, the world is a happier place because he walked into and touched our lives.
Feel free to contact me at ahulefeld@comcast.net. Blessings to all and thank you again. Annette, Ray and Chuck.

Anne And Jim Milliard posted a condolence
Ray recently said he considered my sister and I members of his family and we haven't been neighbors since 1952! The School Street neighborhood will dim as it did a few years ago when the Christmas display left after Marie became too ill to continue. It is my hope the sale of the houses will bring a renewal and restore the luster of that area. We won't soon forget our long time friend. Anne

Great Uncle Ray was the kind of fellow who always had a smile on his face, and had enthusiasm towards life. Though our meetings were typically relegated to family reunions and holidays, he will be remembered in my mind as a jovial man, a kind soul, and good heart.
