Obituary of Robert Paul Perry
Robert Paul Perry, 60, of Walnut Street, Putnam, died Friday evening at his home with his loving family and friends by his side. He was born August 28, 1945, in Putnam, son of the late William A., Sr. and Ada (Morse) Perry of Putnam.
He was a resident of Putnam all of his life and a graduate of Harvard H. Ellis Technical School, Class of 1965. He was employed by A.J. Letourneau, Inc. as a heavy equipment operator until he became ill. He was a mason, a member for 30 years of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftsmen Local Union 12, of New London, CT. Mr. Perry was an avid Harley Davidson rider, enjoyed the races at Thompson Speedway and Stafford Speedway.
He leaves two sons: Scott Paul Perry of Putnam; Kevin John Perry of Woodstock, three grandchildren: Elizabeth Rose and Christopher Robert of Thompson; Tegan Ada of Woodstock, a brother William Perry, Jr. of Woodstock, a special nephew Michael Perry of NH; another nephew and several nieces; a very close friend, Donna Alimandi who resided and cared for Robert; his former wife, Kathleen Andrews of Putnam, and many, many other friends. He was predeceased by a nephew Jeff Perry. The Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 11 AM at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam.
