Pauline,
You must have a great sense of peace knowing your Mom is no longer suffering and how much she appreciated all the time, love and attention you (and your sister) devoted to her during her life, but even more so the past year. She was blessed to have such wonderful daughters. She'll always be there, you'll feel her presence in all you do and it will be a great comfort.
Love,
Chris

"Spruce Hill Farm" was my first home. I spent many hours learning to sew and cook from Grandma. She would braid my hair or make "banana curls". When she wasn't busy making drinks and food for Grandpa and the farm help she would be "rocking" in the chair in the kitchen-back & forth- to pass the time. When I was small I would climb up on her lap and we would "rock". As I grew, my legs hung to the floor and would interupt the soothing rythm of the chair, I had to move to Grandpa's chair and rock next to her. We would rock on the front porch in the summer on the metal porch swing and watch the cows in the field. She rocked my children when they were babies. They rock their children.
I still rock today.
She must be rocking now. "Rock On Grandma"
Your Granddaughter, Great Grand Children, and Great Great Grand Children will miss you and love you eternally. Until we "rock" again.
