Obituary of Carolyn Anne Morse
Carolyn Baker Morse, 68, formerly of Pomfret, died Friday, December 2, 2005, for the last two years she has made her home at Haven Health Care in Danielson. She was born in Putnam June 28, 1937, daughter of the late Percy and Eleanor (Scott) Baker. She was the wife of the late Russell Morse, they were married July 28, 1961, he died January 22, 1984. She enjoyed collecting ceramic shoes, bells, and dishes.
She is survived by three sons; Kenneth E. Morse and his wife Sandy of Putnam, Robert R. Morse of Hampton, and Scott B. Morse and his wife Chrisy of Hazelhurst, MI, two sisters; Barbara Murdock of Pomfret, and Eleanor Ware of Enfield, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Joan T. Baker; brothers Lawrence; Eleory Baker. There will be a Graveside Service at 11:00 am, Monday, in the Morse Cemetery, Route 169, Southbridge, MA. Calling hours will be Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492, or the American Diabetes Association, 306 Industrial Park Road, Suite 105, Middletown, CT 06457.
