My Pe'Pere,
"The Heart of an angel,
A soul that reaches far,
A warm and giving spirit,
The brilliance of a star."
So many great times. I'll never forget the history of WWII, playing in the back yard, all the 4th of July's, skittles, sat afternoons with Aunt Sandy, and all the hugs, and smiles a grandaughter could ever have. Thank you for being you, I miss you more than words can say.
love you Pep!
P.S. sorry I didn't replace your hat yet, I'll bring it with me to the other side someday!

Ronnie, Sandy, Gerry, Bruce, Dale and your families - how sad we were to hear about Uncle George. It's hard to believe I won't get another special kiss from him or hear his chuckle of delight over something silly. There are too many special memories to pick any one out in particular. He was a special man and he will be missed greatly. Our hearts are with you , Doreen & Gary

We were both so sorry to hear of George's death. We knew him to be a good neighbor, a gentle man with a great sense of humor. We loved it when he came to sell BBQ tickets because he'd always have a story and a smile. We will miss him tremndously.

Loving Memories
Your gentle face and patient smile.
With sadness we recall.
You had a kindly word for each.
And died beloved by all.
The voice is mute and stilled the heart.
That loved us well and true.
Ah, bitter was the trial to part.
From one so good as you.
You are not forgotten loved one.
Nor will you ever be.
As long as life and memory last.
We will remember thee.
We miss you now, our hearts are sore.
As time goes by we miss you more.
Your loving smile, your gentle face.
No one can fill your vacant place.

He was the best and the only Pepere that I had and I loved him. He may not be on Earth with us, but he is always in our hearts. I only have a grandma left and my NaNa and Pepere were like the same person. Now that Pep has passed away that relationship is broken between them. I think that there will always be a big crack in our hearts. I will miss u Pep. U were the best!

To the Family of George Atwood
Weep not for me
now that I have passed.
Remember the laughter, the affection, the joy
not just the recent tears.
Cherish the memories, our hopes and dreams.
Hold fast to the love that we shared.
Be happy with the time we spent together
and being anew.
For I am not really gone,
I am closer than ever before.
As the morning sun rises
and throughout the busy day...I am with you.
Until the setting sun disappears on the horizon
and we watch the day turn into night...I am here.
You may feel a faint breeze stir round your head, while you slumber
as I gently kiss your forehead, "Good night."
The stars that shine so brightly in my heavenly sky
help me watch over you and keep you from harm.
I am the wind in the trees
and the song of a bird.
I am moonbeams in a midnight sky
and a glorious rainbow after the storm.
I am morning dew
and freshly-fallen snow.
I am a butterfly flying overhead
and a puppy happily at play.
I am a smile on a stranger's face
a gentle touch
a warm embrace.
Listen to the wind for my message of love.
Watch the sun rise and set in the sky with me.
Feel my essence encircle you with warm memories.
Open your heart to know...I am not gone.
Reach deep into your soul...You will find me.
I am here.
Have no fear.
I am with you,
Always.
A poem that was given to me and thought I would share with you
I’m truly sorry for your lose. My heart, thoughts and prayers goes out to each and every single one of you. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. May you all find comfort in the memories you share.
