Obituary of William K. Krauchick
William K. Billy Krauchick, Jr., age 42 of Modock Road, Pomfret Center, died unexpectedlyDecember 22, 2005 in Lehigh Acres, Florida. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Parker) Krauchick; they were married March 22, 2002. He was born February 27, 1963 in Flushing, NY, son of Karen (Grieco) Groth of Putnam and the late William K. Krauchick, Sr.
He had made his home in Pomfret for the last five years, he was a truck driver, working for Automatic Rolls in Dayville for the last three years, he also had worked for Superior Bakery in North Grosvenordale. He served in the U S Army. Billy was a talented and gifted musician, he enjoyed writing songs and playing his guitar, music was always a big part of his life. He was a loving and caring husband, son, father, brother and friend. Billy was passionate about his belief in Jesus Christ.
He leaves in addition to his wife and mother, his children: Nicholas; Jesse: Grace Ann; his brothers: Matthew Krauchick of Barnegat, NJ; Roland Groth of Edison, NJ; his sister; Laura Michaud of Putnam, a niece and nephews. He was predeceased by his son: Cory Krauchick, December 20, 2005.
The Funeral will be Thursday at 2:00 PM at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home 148 Grove Street, Putnam. Calling hours will be Thursday from Noon to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Cory William Krauchick, age 18, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, died December 20, 2005 from injuries in an auto accident. He was born October 3, 1987, in S. Amboy, NJ, son of Sheri (Nauman) Krauchick of Florida and the late William K. Krauchick, Jr.
He was a construction worker. Cory enjoyed writing poetry and songs, and playing guitar. He attended schools in Florida.
He leaves in addition to his mother, three brothers : Nicholas; Zachary: Jesse; two sisters: Kayla: Grace Ann; Paternal grandmother: Karen Groth of Putnam; several uncles; aunts and cousins.
