Obituary of Anna K. Aubin
Anna K. Aubin, 86, formerly of Killingly, died Sunday at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. She was born September 16, 1919 in Fall River, MA, daughter of Ignacy and Katherine (Wyka) Krupski.
She was a lifelong resident of Killingly, the last 5 years she has made her home at the Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam. She had worked as a spinner at the former Powdrell and Alexander Textile Co., and she also worked as the cook at the Killingly Central School. She was a communicant of ST Annes Church, Ballouville. Anna enjoyed cooking, especially for her family. Anna was a very devoted mother and grandmother.
She leaves a daughter; Katherine Raynsford and her husband Frank of Alexanders Lake; a son-in-law: Mark Hevesy of Lisbon; five grandchildren: Laurie Osborn of Pomfret Center; Traci Pagano of Waterford; Frank Raynsford, Jr. of Alexanders Lake; Jamie Raynsford of Pomfret Center; Todd Basham of Killingly; great grandchildren: Nicole, Briannon, Ashlie, Katelynn, Denton, Clint, Faith, predeceased by a daughter Barbara Hevesy, October 3, 2005, her former husband Adelard Aubin, October 28, 1980 and her brother John Krupski in 1973.
The Funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 am from the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am in ST Annes Church, Ballouville. Burial in ST Joseph Cemetery, Dayville. Calling hour will be Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Recreational Fund at the Matulaitis Nursing Home, 10 Thurber Road, Putnam, CT 06260.
