Obituary of Mary G. Hebert

Mary G. Hebert, 73, of County Road, Woodstock, died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Donald A. Hebert. She was born December 24, 1938 in Southbridge, MA, daughter of the late Sidney C. and Esther B. (Green) Hazzard. She had made her home in Woodstock all her life. Mary enjoyed working on her farm and in her gardens. For many years she cared for her father and mother. She was known to everyone as "Grandmother". She leaves, in addition to her husband Donald, her children Elmer Hebert and Dale Hebert, her siblings: Sidney Hazzard; Ida Lamontagne; Carol Warwick; Elizabeth Cable, 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Robin Hebert, her siblings: Earl Hazzard; Fred Hazzard; Charles Hazzard; Gloria Laflesche; Ethel Martin; Lillian Racicot; Pearl Cody. Calling Hours will be Friday, December 21, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT. A Funeral Service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in MT Zion Cemetery, Webster, Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM.
