Obituary of Virginia E. Rogalski
Virgina Rogalski, 81 formerly of Thompson, died Wednesday in the Mansfield Center For Nursing & Rehabilitation, Mansfield, CT where she made her home for the last eleven years. She was the wife of the late Joseph Rogalski, he died in 1974. She was born in Putnam on March 29, 1924, daughter of the late Herbert and Theresa Johnson.
She had worked at the former Thrifty Market in Webster and local mills. Virginia enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and quilting, making many quilts for her family.
She leaves her daughter Gail Chickering and her husband Russell of Dudley, MA, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Susan Langer in 2002.
A Graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00 pm at ST Joseph Cemetery, Webster, MA. Smith & Walker Funeral Home is directing arrangements. To share a memory with the family, Light a Candle at www.smithandwalkerfh.com.
