I didn't know Roger at all, but have always heard that he was one of those special people, who could make your day a little brighter. I know well, the grief that you bear, having lost my husband, Jean 11 years ago, at the age of 53. It has been almost 40 years since I last saw Chink. I was very sad to hear of his passing. A lifelong image I have of Chink is of him getting hit in the face by a pie thrown by his to be brother-in-law Dave Gilbert. I still chuckle when I think of it.
To Teresa and the rest of Chink's family you have my most heart felt sympathy. Please know that even after being separated by all these years he can still bring a smile to my face. How much more should his memory make you smile.

Although we only met Roger on one occasion, it wasn't hard to see why he was so loved and cherished by his friends and family. There's no mistaking that sharp wit and smile.
