Obituary of Doris G. Parent

Doris G. Parent, age 89 of Jodoin Street, West Warwick, RI, died Wednesday in the West View Health Care Center, West Warwick. She was born in Putnam on February 26, 1917, daughter of the late Alphonse and Rosealba (Langlois) Parent. She worked as a welder, employed by Sealow Corporation in West Warwick for over 20 years. She was a communicant of the SS. John & James Church in West Warwick, member of the Presentation of Mary Association, and volunteered many hours at the community food bank in West Warwick. She leaves a sister, Albina Parent of Brooklyn, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers and four sisters. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, March 9, 2006 at the ST James Church, Franklin Street, Danielson. There are no calling hours. Burial in the spring in ST Mary Cemetery, Putnam.
