Richard Paul King, age 49, of Norwich Road, Plainfield, died Thursday at home. He was born January 27, 1957 in Rochester, NY, son of Harlan and Josephine King of Las Vegas, NV. Richard had made his home in the area for the last fifteen years, formerly of Rochester,NY. He was employed the last two and a half years at the Staples Warehouse in Putnam. He also had worked at International Paper in Putnam for twelve years. He served four years in the US Navy. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and working on his truck and cars. He leaves in addition to his mother and father- a son Benjamin King of Putnam and his mother Patricia Fondelheit; three sisters: Linda DeCarlo and her husband Michael; Deborah Fillion and her partner Jan Grieco; Kathy King all of Rochester, NY; a niece,many aunts, uncles and nephews. A Memorial Service will be Tuesday at 4:30 PM at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home 148 Grove Street, Putnam. Calling hours Tuesday from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm at the Funeral Home.
