Obituary of Anne Marie Grant

Anne Marie Grant of 108 Fabyan-Woodstock Rd, North Grosvenordale, CT passed away Friday March 24 after a long struggle. She is survived by John W. Grant, her sons Jonathan A. Grant and Nolan H. Grant, her mother Lucile Colatrella, her brother Christopher Colatrella and sisters Gisele Benedict and Celeste Waterman. Anne was pre-deceased by her brothers Michael Benedict and David Benedict. Anne was a 1981 graduate of Killingly High School in Danielson, CT. Anne was a dedicated homemaker and an accomplished cook. Anne was a loving person who spent much time in the care of others. As an advocate of the less fortunate Anne spend much time in personal acts of kindness and generosity. Anne had a great interest in art and music. Calling hours will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday March 29th at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 11:00 am at St. Stephens Church in Quinebaug, CT. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations in Anne Marie's name be made to charities that provide mental health support and addiction recovery services.
