Obituary of Stanley A. Lawrence

Stanley A. Lawrence, 69, of Bass Lane, Brooklyn, CT, formerly of Hopkinton, RI, died Saturday at his home after a long illness. Husband of Pearl (Bannon) Lawrence, she died May 18, 2005. Born in Detroit, MI August 17, 1936, son of the late Alfred and Marion (Sharpe) Lawrence. He made his home in Brooklyn for the last 6 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Coast Guard. He was an Auto Body Mechanic. Stanley enjoyed his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He is survived by sons: Steve Lawrence of Wells, ME, Charles Lawrence of Charlestown, RI, daughters: Susan Berg of Pawcatuck, CT, Darlene Frey of Woodruft, SC, Judith Carroll of Warwick, RI, Victoria Duerr of Westerly, RI, Jami Araujo of Rehoboth, MA, 16 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Predeceased by son: Stanley Lawrence. Funeral services are private.
