Obituary of Leonel "Lee" R. Burke

Leonel Lee Burke, age 76, of Putnam, died Sunday in the Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam. Born March 27, 1930 in Putnam, son of the late William Patrick and Mary Florence (Blais) Burke. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. He worked as an auto mechanic for many years at Kris Chevrolet in Dudley, MA. He leaves his wife, Mabel (Whittemore) Burke, son: Daniel Burke of Colchester, daughter: Cheryl Doucette of Putnam, sister: Mary Beausoleil of Storrs, granddaughter: Maegan Spaulding of Windsor Locks, great grandson: Justin Spaulding, nephews: Michael Beausoleil of Eastford, John Beausoleil of Killingly, and niece: Kathleen Labonte of Rio Rancho, NM.
