Obituary of Arthur L. Bernier

Arthur L. Bernier, 64, of Rocky Hill Road, Woodstock, died unexpectedly Tuesday at his home in Woodstock. Born January 3, 1942 in Putnam, son of the late Wilfred and Germain (Bressett) Bernier. He made his home in Woodstock for over 30 years, a communicant of ST Mary Church of the Visitation, Putnam. Arthur worked as an auto body mechanic at Northeast Auto Body for 18 years, and Action Auto in Columbia. He enjoyed spending time with his family and the out of doors. He leaves sons; Mark Bernier and wife Lori of Thompson, Arthur D. Bernier and wife Cheryl of East Putnam, step children; Kevin Dupre and wife Marie of Dayville, Andrew Dupre and wife Deidre of Hagerstown, MD and Jennifer Dupre of Putnam, grandchildren; April, Carrie, step grandchildren; Devin, Collin, Amber, Renee Dupre, Colt Foley. He was predeceased by his wife Rita (Davis) Bernier in 2005 and his first wife Elizabeth (Ellery) Bernier in 1996.
