Obituary of Scott R. Dixon, Sr.

Scott R. Dixon, Sr., 39, of Furnace Street, Danielson, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, May 23, 2006 in Pawcatuck. Born June 13, 1966 in Putnam, son of Charlotte (Charron) Trahan and the late Charles E. Dixon II. He was a self employed contractor, working throughout eastern Connecticut. Scott attended Woodstock Academy, a communicant of ST Mary Church of the Visitation, enjoyed fishing, camping, and being outdoors. He leaves his mother and step father: Charlotte and Richard Trahan of Woodstock Valley, a son: Scott Dixon, Jr. of Groton, a brother: Charles Dixon III and wife Robin of Pawcatuck, a sister: Christine Campbell and husband Robert of Putnam, several nieces and nephews and his companion: Mary Ann Nelson of Danielson. The funeral will be Friday, May 26, 2006 at 10:00 am from the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at the ST Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam.
