Obituary of Stanley C. Pelczarski
Stanley C. Pelczarski, 81, of Walnut Street, Putnam, died Friday afternoon at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. Born March 25, 1925 in Putnam, son of the late Thomas S. and Emelia S. (Bienias) Pelczarski.
Stanley worked as a tool and die make for over 37 years at the American Optical Co. in Putnam and in Southbridge. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, serving with the 41st Division, serving in the South Pacific, New Guinea, the Dutch East Indies and Japan. He has made his home in Putnam most of his life, a communicant of ST Mary Church of the Visitation in Putnam and a member of the Putnam VFW Post 1523.
He leaves two brothers, John Pelczarski and his wife Betty of Putnam, Joseph Pelczarski and his wife Natalie of Lady Lake, FL several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will Tuesday at 10:30 am from the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at ST Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam.
