Judy and Gary Kendall posted a condolence
Helen was one of the classiest ladies we've ever known. Gary was reluctant to tell her any off-color jokes, but knows she would have laughed if he had. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Thank you, Helen, for always making us feel so welcome in your home. We thank you for your friendship and we you will be a special part of our hearts always!
With love,

Helen,
How I will miss you!!!You have been a member of our "Child" family for many years now. Whenever we would see each other, we would hug and, of course, admire each other's outfits. You made me feel special each time we met!
We celebrated many happy holidays together. For many years, you would come over to our house for 4th of July picnics.... Barbara would always bring her now famous flag cake. On Christmas Day, we would gather at Steve and my house. You would be very complimentary about the table setting, decorations, food, etc. You enjoyed every single aspect of the festivities. Easter was always hosted by you and Barbara. We would always sign the guest book,a tradition unique to our visits there. Helen, you were always eager to talk about how everyone was doing. You always spoke with the youngest members to the more mature members of the group, expecting a hug and conversation from each.
I respected your love of life, passion for family, loving friendship with Barbara, and interest in the world. I envied your wonderful, vivid memory. You shared many tales of years past.
I'm so glad that Jeremy and Derek, truly had a 3rd grandmother. You set a fine example to the younger generation. I'm glad you got to know Brenna. We certainly had a wonderful bridal shower in April! You were one of the 1st to arrive, and the last to leave!!!Your wonderful daughter, Barbara, was such a wonderful help in making that day a special occasion for the newest "Child" member.
Helen, you were truly blessed in having family and friends that both loved and admired you.
You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Love you, Linda Child

I have many fond memories of your mother. first as Mr. Bixby's secretary when I was hired for my first job. She was so warm and friendly. I also loved the fact that she alwayws oohed and aahed over my children, telling me how Matthew had the sweetest shaped mouth for a baby. Praise taken to heart by a young mother. She was a treasure.

John & Linda Johnson posted a condolence
Dear Barbara,
We are so saddened to hear of your Mother's passing. She was just a lovely, kind
lady. John enjoyed working
at her home and chatting with her about "everything".
I was touched by her love for my little Jack Russell dog "Bear" who was the love
of my life. I lost him last August and I know he will be with your Mother in a better place.
Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Sincerely,
John & Linda Johnson
