Obituary of Ross Robert Cole

Ross Robert Cole, 51 of Thompson, CT and Nokomis, FL. Beloved son of Jean and Floyd Cole of Thompson, CT. Died Friday June 23 at Day Kimball Hospital of complications of Alzheimer’s disease. He was employed for several years at the ARC of Quinebaug Valley (QVARC). Ross is survived by his parents, his three brothers and one sister, Judy of North Grosvenordale, CT; Blair of Thompson, CT, Craig of Harmony, PA and David of Katy, TX , Also by four nieces and three nephews. Ross was a beautiful, gentle soul who touched and changed forever the lives of those who knew him; he has left behind a happy memory of himself and will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held Friday June 30th at 11:00 AM at Thompson Congregational Church, Routes 193 & 200, Thompson, CT In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Alzheimer’s Research Association, 443 Franklin Avenue, Hartford, CT 06114, or QVARC, 687 Cook Hill Road, Danielson, CT 06239.
