Obituary of Robert Joseph Ricci, Jr.

Robert Bob Joseph Ricci, Jr., 37, of Reardon Rd., North Grosvenordale, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 20, 2006, in Putnam, beloved husband of Pamela (Fafard) Ricci, his childhood sweetheart. He was born February 17, 1969, in Webster, MA, son of Robert Joseph Ricci, Sr. and Diane Girard Ricci.

He made his home in Thompson all of his life, attended Tourtellotte High School. He was an excavator operator at McManus Excavating in Northborough, MA, for 10 years and also had worked at his fathers garage doing auto body work. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes with his son, rebuilding his Harley, and riding his motorcycle. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, son and uncle and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was always ready to help someone out.

He leaves his wife of sixteen years, Pamela Ricci, daughters, Nichole Ann Ricci, Lauren Ashley Ricci, son, Anthony Rocco Ricci, all of Thompson, father, Robert Joseph Ricci, Sr. and wife Geralyn Ricci of Thompson, mother Diane Girard Ricci of Webster, sisters Wendy Ann Ricci of Shrewsbury, MA, Tammy Marie Julian and husband Ken of Carolina Beach, NC, 8 nieces and 2 nephews, Nia, Danielle, Alicia, Tricia, Sammy, Kimberly, Kayla, Emily, Jagger, Dylan, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joseph and Tina Rickaby, Charles and Lori Fafard, William and Tammy Mackenzie, father-in-law Robert W. Fafard, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by loving mother-in-law Lorraine M. Fafard.

The Funeral will be Friday at 10:15 am from the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Joseph's Church, 12 Main Street, North Grosvenordale, Calling hours will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, North Grosvenordale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ricci Children's Education Fund, Citizens National Bank, PO Box 65, North Grosvenordale, CT 06255.
