Stasia (Boyko) Misiaszek, age 91, of Walnut St., Putnam, died Friday morning at the Webster Manor in Webster, MA. Beloved wife of the late Chester Misiaszek, they were married July 20, 1946 in St Joseph Church in Webster, he died in 2003. Born December 15, 1914 in Webster, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Gszemit) Boyko. She worked for many years at Cranston Print Works in Webster and later at American Optical Company in Putnam. Stasia made her home in Putnam most of her life, a communicant of ST Mary Church of the Visitation in Putnam. She enjoyed baking, knitting, and was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She leaves 2 sons: Chester Misiaszek, Jr. and Fred Misiaszek both of Putnam; a daughter: Joan Galenski and her husband Donald of Woodstock Valley; 2 granddaughters: Heidi Urias and her husband Luis of Los Angles, CA; Melissa Galenski of Hoboken, NJ; a niece: Karen Thompson of Brooklyn; predeceased by her siblings: Walter Boyko; Emily Boyko. Calling Hour will be Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in ST Mary Church Of The Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam. Burial in ST Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the ST Mary School Fund 23 Marshall Street, Putnam, CT 06260.
