Obituary of Rachel B. DePaulo

Rachel B. DePaulo, 85, of Maple Court Danielson formerly of Putnam died unexpectedly Thursday at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital in Worcester, wife of the late Anthony L. DePaulo, he died March 3, 1986. Born July 14, 1921 in ST Sylvere, Quebec, Canada, daughter of the late Donat and Claire (Mailhot) Morrisette. She was a communicant of ST Mary Church of the Visitation, in Putnam, a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was an active member of the Putnam Emblem Club. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, crocheting, knitting, reading, baking. She traveled the world with her husband. Rachel always enjoyed being with people and helped them in need. She was also a volunteer at the Day Kimball Hospital. She had worked at Preferred Plastics and was a waitress at Zips Diner in Dayville. She had made her home on School Street in Putnam since 1967, recently moving to Danielson. She leaves a son Michael DePaulo of Providence, a sister Cecile Goerke in Hanover, NH; Constance Salvas of Danielson, 18 loving nieces and nephews; she was also predeceased by her first husband Eugene Cyr in 1962, and four brothers and a sister. A Memorial Mass will be Friday November 3 at 11:00 am at ST Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam. Burial in Grove Street Cemetery.
