My heartfelt condolences to the Bunnell family. I remember Emily best as the tireless mother of my best friend Ross Bunnell as we went through our grade school and high school years together causing trouble and having fun. What struck me most as I was a frequent visitor to her tidy and friendly home was how dedictated she was to her family. That love and devotion is an example that shines out most from my memories and my only regret is that I didn't tell her when she was living what a great rolemodel she was and will be for generations.

My thoughts are with you all as you say goodbye. I remember Mrs. Bunnell as a very pretty attractive women who was a great home maker; always making great food, keeping a house that was clean, neat and stylishly decorated, and raising kids in a lovingly directed manner. It was from her that I learned that a house could be redecorated. She also cared enough to help smooth some of the roughness off my social skills. Your house was fun and I used the chore chart I learned about there with my own kids. She was certainly a courageous woman devoted to her family and I know will all miss her.

As I get older I find that my distant memories are not as clear as they once were. What I find never goes away though is a warm feeling in my heart for people who were a special part of my life. Your mother is one of those people. As I think about playing at your house and eating your mom's cookies the picture is fuzzy but the warm glow is clear. I remember your mom as a quiet kind of person that everybody seemed to admire. I'm sorry for your loss, it is always hard. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers.
