Obituary of Joseph A. Baillargeon
Joseph A. Baillargeon, Sr., age 93 of Modock Road, Putnam, died Sunday December 24, 2006 at the Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn. He was the beloved husband of the late Marion A. Baillargeon; they were married November 4, 1933 in Webster, MA. He was born March 28, 1913 in Brooklyn, CT. He had made his home in the Putnam-Pomfret area most of his life.
He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Woodstock. He owned and operated a Dairy Farm in Putnam for over 25 years. He retired from Hale Manufacturing Co. in Putnam. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard.
He leaves his children, Joseph Baillargeon of Boynton Beach, FL and Marion E. Baillargeon of Putnam; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Shirley Lynn Baillargeon.
Private Funeral Services were held in Grove Street Cemetery, Putnam.
