My thoughts go out to Joyce and Anthony on the one that we love.
Here is a Poem that I wrote to the ones we lose and that we love. It is called:
Memories In My Mind
Sweet memories of me
and you Passes
through my mind
everyday.
I want to say just
now that we're
apart of all the
of all the pain
and misery that
lies deep
within my
heart.
I want to let
you know my
dear how much
I really miss.
The way you
feel inside
my arms
every time
we huged.
But since I
can't, I want
you to know that
I still love
you,
and I wish you
luck and
happiness even
though we're
feeling blue
down here.
We love you Aunt Joyce and Athony.

My Bouquet of Flowers
When looking at my lovely bouquet,
of friendship's faces.
Picked from so many,
wonderful and different places.
It suddenly came bursting,
with such delight.
How each one made up,
a most beautiful sight.
Though it has taken my life-time,
to add each one.
I know that still yet,
my task is not done.
For I shall continue to gather,
along life's pathway.
More radiant faces,
that I shall display.
But dear FRIEND!
This I want you to know.
It will be your flower,
the first that I show.
Thanks, for all the memories,
both of laughter and tears.
They will always be with me,
throughout the coming years.
Until we meet again, Tony, God be with you and your family.

Alan was the sweetest man I have ever known! I never saw him without having him ask how Sam, Anna, Dave and I are doing. The last time he was he was at 24/7, he wanted to be there even though he did not feel well. It shows so much that he loved the Lord and His kids!! He lifted others spirits with his joking even when he felt lousy! My job at 24/7 was to scratch his back, make sure Bob and Jacob would not pick on him too much. Al liked that!! He and I decided that last night that scratching his back should be a permanent assignment!
He will be greatly missed!!
He is in no pain now, but I know you are...
Prayers for all of you. I know that his loss leaves a great pain, God will see you through!! 2 Corinthians 1:3-7.....
We love you so very much and hurt so very much for you now....

Kerri Flanagan posted a condolence
I was shocked to receive the disheartening news from my mother yesterday about cousin Allan's sudden passing.
I will always remember him as a gentle, sweet man who had a jovial, endearing spirit. I, too, fondly remember his passion for music and his fanaticism for Elton John--I remember the endless stacks of albums and Elton John posters plastered all over the den in Auntie Mary's (his mother's) house! He had such a wonderful, soothing voice and personality for radio (his true talent), which I'm sure made him a natural in the world of sales as well--he had a special way of engaging anyone and invoking an instant sense of camaraderie.
It was nice to reconnect with Allan, Joyce, and Anthony in recent times, with Christmas Eve 2006 being the most recent; although it has now become the last time that I'll get to enjoy Allan's presence, I'm fortunate to have it as a recent, happy memory.
Although I'm many miles away and regrettably cannot be there to participate in the celebration of his life today, my thoughts and prayers are with Joyce, Anthony, and all of his family and friends.
Allan, your presence will never be forgotten and will always be with each one of us in our own ways. If anything, the way you approached life and your sudden passing reminds me to enjoy each day more despite my problems, small or large.
You have many familiar spirits to greet you on your next journey; I'm sure it will be a peaceful one. We love and miss you very much, Allan.
Love,
Kerri

My memories of Allan span his lifetime. We lived in the same house so I was like the big sister who lived upstairs. I am going to miss my cousin who was full of fun and oh how I will miss our discussions about our beloved Yankees. Allan was a caring, sensitive and thoughtful person who was passionate about his family. Oh how he loved his wife and son. Having Allan and his family at our home on Christmas Eve for the past three years has meant more to me and my family than perhaps he knew. We feel fortunate to have had Allan in our lives. He was a tremendous human being who was passionate about his family, his church and a devout fan of Elton John and the Yankees. Allan is a person who truly enriched the world around him. Allan we love you and want you to know that we will be there always for Joyce and Anthony.

It's been many years since "Tony Knight" was a mainstay at WKRI in West Warwick, where his radio career began. But his engaging personality, his happy-go-lucky style on the air, and his genuine kindness to those he worked with and those he entertained will always be cherished. Kind of word and of deed, Al Adalio's friendship with his peers at WKRI enhanced not only his working relationships, but our personal lives as well. A gentleman to the nth degree, his gusto for music, sports, and life itself endeared him to his friends, family, and listenership.

Dear Joyce & Anthony,
I will never forget when I didn't have much money and Allan paid for my haircut. You wouldn't believe how many times I've thought about that. He was a good man and he loved you both very much. When I told my daughters they both said, "Oh no, not Allan. He was always so nice to me. He was a really, really nice man." I am so saddened by his death and will always remember his beautiful smile because his eyes would sparkle and the whole room would light up! Kind of like in this picture. It just made you want to hug him. I can't imagine coming to work and not seeing him. He was part of our office family. I will miss him very, very much. I am still stunned. Sending love and hugs.
