Obituary of Harold Earl Korch
Harold Earl Korch, age 81, of Putnam, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007, in the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. Beloved husband of Jeannette (Collette) Korch. He was born October 1, 1925 in Webster, MA, son of the late George and Mae Korch.
He was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Navy. He worked in the Finishing Department at Cranston Print in Webster for over 34 years and had made his home in Putnam since 1950. He will be greatly missed his great nieces and great nephews in Maine. He was a member of the American Legion Post in North Grosvenordale and a communicant of ST Mary Church of the Visitation in Putnam.
He leaves in addition to his wife Jeannette of 56 years, two sisters: Jane Plaza; Barbara Kopas both of Dudley, MA, and his beloved cat Sammy.
A Memorial Mass will be held Monday April 30, 2007 at 10:30 AM in ST Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam. Burial following in ST Mary Cemetery with Military Honors. To share a memory with his family "Light a Candle" at www.smithandwalkerfh.com
