Obituary of Anna B. McPherson

Anna B. McPherson, age, 84, of Woodstock Avenue, Putnam, passed away Friday, February 16, 2007 at the UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, with many of her loved ones by her side. She was born May 12, 1921 in High Gate, VT, daughter of the late John "Sidney" and Vitalis (Miskler) Jackson. Anna was the wife of the late Miles McPherson, who died January 1988. She leaves behind many family members, her children: Jimmy and Mary Jackson of Sheldon Springs, VT, Gary and Noella Jackson of Avardia, CO; John and Antoinette Butler of Bristol; Michael and Lori Butler of North Grosvenordale; Leslie and Trish McPherson of Oakdale; Judy and Errol Livingston of Putnam; Nancy Aldrich and Jeff Abrams of Old Saybrook; Laurie and Stephen Poulin of Plainfield; grandchildren: Jamie, Kelly, Kim. Michael, David, Sean, Tammy, Tracy, John, Jay, Jim, Richard, Robert, Eric, Jessica, James, Julie, Douglas, Angel, Raymond, Jonathan, Mikayla, Andrew, Jennifer, Edward,and four sisters: Bertha, Mildred, Irene, Pearl; thirty one great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, very special friends Pat Wright and Russ Corby of Westbrook. She was predeceased by a son Steven McPherson. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Calling hours will be Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT, with a Memorial Service at 6:00 PM. Burial May 12, 2007 at 1:30 pm in Grove Street Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Susan G.
