It seems as if God only wants the best, Hope. All throughout our school years together, the one constant thing was your smile. You always had one for everyone and may you be at peace.

Marianne, Tim, and Rachel, My deepest sympathy goes to each of you on the news and surprise at your loss of Hope. My what a beautiful young woman she was. I remember Hope as friendly yet quiet and shy, studious and organized. I remember her in the 7th grade with glasses as being very bright as I had worked as an aide with one of her classmates. She had shared her notes one time with the young man I was working with and I was amazed at how oderly and organized and thorough her notes were and NEAT since the young man I was working with was NOT! She was happy to be of help. I could sense it was part of her nature. I first met Hope at church in E. Woodstock and had her in my Sunday school class when I taught her. She always loved to share her pictures and thoughts about God back then and it was evident in her life. I remember having the opportunity to have her class at my home to teach them the song "Sunbeam" to sing at church and she had a lovely voice even though she was always quiet. There was Alaina, Erica, Amanda and Hope. These are memories I will cherish. May your memories of her continue to keep her close until you are together again. My prayers and thoughts are with you, Love Iris Stinson

I met Hope at Delhi. I first thought she was this shy, kept to herself kind of girl. Let me tell you that all changed so quickly once you got to know her. I found Hope to be a delightful, caring, funny person with a magnificent smile and an infectious laugh. We had some good times together and I will always remember jumping in the leaves, the parties, the chats and late nights in the bathrooms. My thoughts and prayers are with you Hope and your family.

Hope and I were roommates our first year at Delhi. I remember that first day meeting her and she hardly spoke. That would soon change. I can't even begin to list all of the great memories I have with Hope. Things ranging from spending hours getting ready to go to a party or the times we would stay up late talking. Those were some of the best days of my life. We started to grow apart but always still stayed in touch. She was there for me this fall when she found out my dad got sick. She was an amazing person and always there for me. I will cherish the friendship I had with her.

In the four years I worked with Hope I got to know a very special person. She was someone who always wanted everyone to be happy. She listened to what you had to say and seemed to always know just what to say in return. She had a constant smile and wanted to be sure everyone around her was laughing along with her. My deepest sympathy to her family, she will be greatly missed. I am sure she is smiling down and sprinkling pixie dust on all who loved her.

From the day I started working at the Animal Hospital about 3 years ago, Hope had always been someone that I looked up to. I was able to intern as a technician this past summer, and I can tell you that it wouldn't have been as much fun as it was if it weren't for Hope being there. She always found a way to make us all laugh, and I will truly miss that. She was always fun to be around, and she sure knew how to handle an angry kitty when I didn't feel confident enough to do so. Hope was taken from us too early, but heaven has its own princess now, and we will all see her again one day. I can not tell you enough how sorry I am for your family at this time. We will never forget Hope and her amazing personality.

It is so hard to find the words to say at such a tragic loss. I would like all of Hope's family to know that I feel privileged to have known such a sweet, caring young "princess" and to have worked with her. She was always helpful to everyone she worked with in any way she could be. She was a caring person with such special talent at what she did. She had a "special" sense of humor that will be missed very much, along with her beautiful smile. She will forever be in my heart and memory ... it wouldn't be even remotely possible to forget such a sweetheart like Hope. I love ya Hope.

Hope was a person you always want to be around. She could make you laugh without even trying, just by being Hope. She helped me through some very hard times, because that's who Hope was, a beautiful friend with a huge heart that touched everyone she came in contact with. She will be missed more than words can say. Spread your wings Tinkerbell and watch over us all, as you did here on earth. Till we meet again my friend. To Hope's family and other loved ones, may your loving memories carry you through.

Like a light among darkness, Hope shone above all as a wonderful person. Like an older sister, Hope was always there to listen, reason, and of course teach me like my other sister Charlotte. She always had a smile on her face, and would make sure that no matter what, everyone else had a smile as well. She was the person I always wished I could have been, and she will always have a place in my life, and my heart. To the Eddy family, and friends: I know that you are pained by this loss of a great person, but I would like to leave you with a quote that I will always keep close to my heart:
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."

Hope is my little sister, my princess and my best friend. I never thought I would find a friend like Hope to grace my life, she brought so much laughfter and joy. She was like a mirror image, we could (and most often did)communicate without words, all it took was a glance with those beautiful eyes followed by her warm smile and I knew what she was thinking. Hope will be loved forever, missed always, and forgotten never. Hope please save a pair of wings in Heaven for me. Mom and Dad Eddy, Rachel, Aunt Sue and Kyle, I love you all very much, I am so sorry she is gone, I can imagine the holes left in all of your hearts, but she will remain with us forever.
