I remember a blue van in the driveway, so packed that you couldn't put anything else in it. I remember visiting my mom, Rita Gendreau, and seeing Irving and he always made me laugh and joked around with me, while Rachel laughed with her hankerchief near her mouth, and coughing because of her asthma. I remember Richard and Alan playing with my sons Butch and Jamie, while Rachel held Brenda, tiny little Brenda. Good people, Good memories. God bless your soul, Irving, and tell Rachel I said hi.

Joan Trombley posted a condolence
My heart aches and tears fill my eyes. My love, my best friend, my confidante is gone to a better place. He is no longer in pain, but that doesn't stop the ache or the loneliness I suffer. He brought so much joy into my life...made me laugh more in the less than 4 years we shared than I had in my whole life. I look out my doorwall and see the garden plot that he planned to "supervise" while I and neighbors set the plants just the way he wanted them. I see the bird feeders and remember how he watched them from his hospital bed and how he hated it when the squirrels ate the birdseed..the memories come flooding back. I thank him for being a special part of my life and for bringing a loving family into my life..one I will always cherish. I will never forget him and he will remain in my heart. I will never visit a casino without remembering how much he loved to go...RIP, my love...love always...jo
