So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. We have many happy memories of time spent with him at weddings, family reunions, and visits he made to Mt. Jewett, PA and Rochester, NY. Countless stories were shared of the 6 rambunctious boys growing up in Worchester and West Boylston. When Uncle Fran was in the Navy, he spent numerous weekends visiting in Worchester. He always felt very close to all of the Scanlons. He was there with open arms to welcome Joe into heaven. Our deepest sympathies to all of you. God bless you.
Love,
Aunt Phyllis and family

Dear Scanlon Family,
I was so saddened to read this news this am. I worked with your dad many years ago back in the 70’s when I was a nurse at DKH. He was such a great man and Co worker. Please know you remain in my thoughts and prayers

My sincerest condolences to the entire Scanlon Family on your loss. I always enjoyed talking with Joe at Day Kimball Hospital and seeing him at Cumberland Farms in Putnam after he retired.

My heartfelt condolences to Joe's entire family! I always looked up to Joe as my oldest cousin and loved when we would go from Mt. Jewett, PA to visit them in West Boylston. We couldn't believe how wild and fun our boy cousins were, especially when we saw them jump off their upper balcony! We appreciate the times they have visited us in Henrietta for family reunions and more. Thanks to all you kids for making those visits possible! You are in our thoughts and prayers! Love, Kathy and family
