So sorry to hear about Everett. I too remember him asking me if I liked Werther’s candies and bringing a bag up to my art studio when he came to pick up Helen from class. Such a lovely gentle man. We will be praying for God to comfort Helen, his daughters and the rest of the family during this difficult time. He was a blessing to all who knew him.
Best wishes, Gilly and Don

A kinder, more gentle man I have yet to meet. Your family, especially Helen is in my prayers.
I feel privileged to have vacationed at the Harding home in Maine. Everett taught me how to clean a lobster, and made sure I had more lobster in one weekend than I’d had in my entire life.
I am so happy Helen and Everett were able to stay with me in Pacific Grove. Their easy laughter and joy in spending time with Pam, John, Marie and I was heartwarming.
I know Everett will always be protecting and loving his family, even in heaven.

Condolences to the family of Everett Harding. Everett served as Fire Police for the Eastford Fire Department and member / Board of Directors for 50 years. Not only was he a member, he was a good friend always ready to listen. Rest in Peace Everett. Helen, his wife, also a member in the Ladies Auxiliary worked tirelessly for us as well. They were definitely a team.

I too know the pain of losing my Father. My heart goes out to you, Doreen and Pam. In time it will be easier to remember the good times, and you will always have your Dad's Love! Helen, you were great to Mom when she lost her husband. Our hearts go out to you, every time it's difficult, imagine we are there with you hugging you and supporting you.
I can't imagine our lives without Everett. If there was one thing you NEVER had to worry about when you were with Everett it was that you might be hungry! He was the kindest, most loving gentle man I have ever known. He was almost like having a second father, and my loss of Everett certainly hurts like he was. I think, Everett, you are at least resting peacefully and you shall never be forgotten.

We had the great fortune of buying the camp next door to the Hardings and it was one of the best decisions we ever made! Over the past several years, our families have become friends during the long summer days on the pond. There was not a time that Everett did not make any of our family of 6 (and the dogs and cats)feel like less than part of his family. We will miss seeing Everett in the morning, watching the loons and the pond wake up, or seeing he and Helen arrive early in the season to get camp going. Go well Everett, you will be deeply missed by your friends and family and by ours as well.

Michele and I will miss Everett very much.
He was a kind and fun friend who made us feel like family!
We had wonderful visits to the camp on Norton Pond and Everett did a superb job cooking lobster for us!
He and I appreciated a big jar of pickles as a snack!
Michele and I will say a prayer for Everett and the Harding family.
