Dear Pauline,
There are no words to describe how I feel. I feel in love with you and Norman as soon as I laid eyes on y'all. I felt as if I had known y'all forever when y'all came down. The friendship between him and daddy was like no other. There friendship alone meant so much to me. Sometimes when I would call to talk to you, he would say, my wife is gone to get her nails done, and he and I would still talk on the phone; for almost an hour. I have always disliked the miles between us. I am just so sorry. I thought I had plenty of time. I will forever regret that for both him and daddy. My prayers are with you. I love you.
To the family: my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. He was such a great, kind and loving man. I know that each of you are so very proud of him and his life's accomplishments.
