I somehow stumbled upon this page tonight and was very saddened. Mrs. R-S was my English teacher for 9th and 10th grade at Killingly High School 24 and 23 years ago. She touched my life in a way I’ve never forgotten. Her loving manner and huge heart spoke to me, and somehow she always knew how to “speak teenager”. I was able to speak to her just once after high school but I hope that she knew all that she meant to me and to countless other kids whose lives she touched. She gave me an appreciation for poetry and Shakespeare, and her love and humor for me through some very dark days. My deepest condolences to her family. She will never be forgotten, certainly not by me.
