I am so sorry to hear about Joe’s passing I have many wonderful memories of Joe He was an excellent neighbor. He had many adventures with my brother Tod . I always looked forward to stopping at the Christmas Barn to catch up on the neighbors. The New Years Eve party ushering in 2000 is a memory I treasure .

Please accept my sincere condolences. I will always remember the special feeling of browsing around the Christmas Barn. Not only because of the unique, beautiful items, but because of Mr. Reynolds and his wife Kris and the numerous interactions I experienced around them. Two loving, caring, dedicated to family, people. My little flickering Christmas tree will continue to remind me of your parents. I admired the two of them, and I am sure they hold a special place in God's care. May God provide your family with the joy and peace that your parents bestowed on so many, over many years. I pray you find strength in this difficult time of grief.
Sincerely,
-Diane

Our deepest sympathy to Jay and Mark and your family. Joe and Kris were the sweetest people. Your dad had the most enlightening smile . We would stop and talk with him every time he was out mowing his lawn or getting his mail on the road. I stopped one day and asked him for a favor recently , his response was “ Only if it’s easy”. And if I’d return a favor for him. He requested I ride Cricket the next morning in the fields behind the house, He said Kris and him enjoyed watching her run. We were out there the next day bright and early and there was your Dad with his smile and a wave watching us ride in his fields. That was just the end of June. I will cherish that moment and his smile. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Janel wanted me to send regards from Tennessee as well. He is with Kris now , we hope that comforts you in your time of sadness. Sincerely. Dineen. Glenn. Janel Noren

Jotham was a first-rate neighbor....warm, caring, welcoming. We always enjoyed visiting with him, loved hearing about his latest travels. Life was full of joy and interest for Joe, and his joy was indeed infectious. We will miss him. Our deepest sympathy goes to Mark and Jay and Ann and all of the grandchildren. He's home-free once again....with the love of his life.

Mert and I send our sincere sympathy to Joe's children and grandchildren. Our community has lost a very special person, and we personally will miss his ready smile and wry humor.
I have lots of good memories of both Joe and Kris, and always left our encounters /or visits feeling uplifted. We immigrated to Woodstock 3 years after the Christmas Barn opened, and my view of what our adopted home is to me centers around the kind of folks your folks were. Kris was such an encourager to me in my bakery days and even with the pain of losing Kris, Joe had a special way of reaching out to others and shining a light through our darkness. I will miss him, but always with a smile for having known him.

We have been coming to see Joe since we met. The Christmas Barn was such a magical place when he was there. He had the best laugh. Contagious. Always so warm hearted. We will miss you Joe. Heaven has 2 more angels now. RIP Joe and Kris.

If memory serves correctly, Joe was a fellow Future Farmer of America and a classmate of the year '56. To his family go my personal sympathies during this time of sharpest loss and bereavement. The God I know is always there to comfort and ease the pain of family members as well as to provide hope that they will see their loved one again in Heaven.

Dear Jay,Mark and family, I am so sorry to hear about Joe, He was a amazing man who always gave a hug and a smile to me. I will always remember the beautiful letter he wrote me when my son Jeff passed away. He was a wonderful man who many admired and liked. I will miss him as many will. I feel so much sympathy for the family as he always talked about his grandchildren and was so proud of them. He was proud of both his boys and always had a big smile when he talked about his sons. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you. God Bless and know he is in heaven with his wonderful wife Kris! Hugs to all.

To the Reynolds Family:
Our hearts are broken and I'm at a loss for words. Joe was an amazing person and is going to be missed by so many. I'm going to miss our waves to each other as we passed on the road or seeing each other at Cumberland Farms or the most important time when he would stop at the shop to see what was going on. When I saw him I would say her comes my friend Joe and go give him a hug. I going to miss the hugs, the smile and his laugh but it will remain in my mind forever.
I will miss him and Kris forever and they will always have a piece of my heart.
