Judy, Stanley and Thomas,
Please accept my deepest condolences on Dave's passing. I consider myself fortunate to have known him. He taught me how to adjust the valves on my 55 Ford when I was in high school. I remember doing it in the garage at your house in Quinebaug. He was also the greatest influence in my selection of the Coast Guard when I entered the military service. I was surprised when I read the obit to see that he was 77. I guess I let too much time pass without staying in touch. He was a respected individual who will be missed.
