Obituary of Oliver J. Paquette

Oliver J. Paquette, 98, of Ashford, CT passed away September 4, 2018 at his home in Ashford. Born May 28, 1920 in St. Didoce, Canada, son of Ovila and Marie (Poirier) Paquette. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Brewster) Paquette, she died January 15, 2013.

Oliver was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army serving with the 809th Tank Destroyer Battalion, during WWII. He retired from the State of CT DOT.

 He leaves his sister Faye Brimfield; his stepdaughter Lauren Baton-Beaupre and her husband Galen; his step son Craig Baton; his step grandchildren Samantha Beaupre, Brent Beaupre, Ashlee Gonzalez and Joseph Baton. Also multiple nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be October 20, 2018 at 12:30 PM at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson, CT Share a memory at www.gagnonandcostellofh.com
