Dear David, Karl, and Family:
Your mom was one of my mom's best friends. She was so spiritual and a great source of strength to me during my troubled times and always available for a good laugh as well. I would like to extend my greatest sympathy to all of you during this time.

David and Karl, I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. We were not only colleagues in my first four years of teaching, but good friends. I remember going over to your home for dinner ever once in awhile and having great conversations with your mom and dad, Paul. She was a very kind individual and one of the best teachers as well. She will be missed. My heart goes out to both of you and your families.
