Tammie…Bobbie-Jo…Harold,
My Condolences to you and to your families.
I was saddened to learn of Bettie’s passing. I have fond memories of her when we worked at
The Fair Department store back in the day. Sharing my fondest of memories…I was unable to obtain Garth Brooks tickets …back when you stood in line on a sidewalk in front of a ticket window…waiting your turn to purchase those tickets. I waited with my brother…we were three people back…then they closed the window…SOLD OUT. I was so disappointed.
Somehow, Bettie had obtained 2 tickets from some radio promotion…and she invited me to go with her. That was the only show I have ever seen Garth Brooks….and I saw him with Bettie.
I had suffered a personal loss that year, and Bettie was a dear in her efforts to cheer me. I will never forget the exceptional kindness she showed me. Bettie’s simple act has stayed in my heart these many years later. I will never forget her.
May God Be with You in your time of Sorrow
God’s Many Blessings
Love,
Jeanne

Harold, Bobbie-Jo & Tammy-
My heartfelt condolences for all of you. Your Mom was a wonderful lady. Just the other day I came across photos of the Easter egg hunt your Mom and Dad had for Ron and my children. This was when all of you lived behind us in Ballouville. The smile on the kids faces and the big smile on your Moms!! My she rest in peace.
