I stopped by to visit a friend today and she had just read of Anna's passing and asked if she was not the lady who worked with my mom at Anchor Glass. And she was...my mom was Jeannette Jimmo. She and Anna were good friends and rode to work together for years. After retirement, they spoke at least once a week or more by phone. They shared recipes, although my mom did not like to cook like Anna did. In fact, I had company last Thursday for supper and used Anna's Zucchini and Hamburg recipe which I love. I have warm memories of her and my mom together.
