I didn't believe it when I found out. I knew Alex ever since I was a little kid. We had our good times and bad but more good. He was one of my best friends. We didn't see eachother as much as we use to but always talked on the phone. I just wish I was there. Im going to miss him dearly. Im so sorry Ms. Walker and Andrew. If I can do anything just let me know.

Alex - the only man to say "I know" when I told him I loved him for the first time. Your intelligence and pureness of soul will be missed, as you were such a good influence on many, many people. I admired and looked up to you, and always will. I know you will be watching over my husband, our son, and I. Still love you, and miss you even more.

Al was a good friend to all of us at High Point University. My friends and I were freshman when Al was a junior and he showed us the ways of High Point. He was always there to give us a hand, and always offered us a couch to sleep on. We will miss him.

It's pretty simple. I treasure how anytime I saw you, and no matter where we were, you always smiled at me and said,"It's a Jewell twin" as soon as I walked in the room. It was the way that you would say it and the way you would smile at me that would always make me smile. And the car rides with our MANY intellectually stimulating talks that you always had! Thank you for treating me so well!

Ever since the first time we met Alex was always one of the kindest people I knew. I cant even count how many times we had all kinds of fun, whether it was just sitting at Jamie's or going out. He constantly reminded me that life was well just life and not to let the little stuff bother me, he taught me many things and was always the voice of reason he will be missed so so much. He was a good friend and a even better person. Hopefully we will meet again someday

I met Alex in college at High Point University and as it turns out we were both from the quiet corner of Connecticut; he from Woodstock and I from Thompson. We once carpooled from North Carolina to Connecticut and then back again for Spring Break in 2002. I realized during that time in the car with him that Alex was as intelligent as he was graceful in spirit (even though he made me turn around in New York and drive back to Woodstock because he had forgotten his shoes).
Alex was a kind man, an insightful person, a good friend and I shall miss him.

I hadn't seen Alex in years, but he wasn't the type of guy you'd forget. Throughout high school he was a great friend.
Memories of Alex are nothing but good times and lots of laughs. We may have skipped school and stayed in G's basement a little too much, but Alex was always one of the first guys you thought of when you wanted someone to hang out with, so he got roped into everything.I don't think there was a mean bone in his body, and he was always there for everyone, regardless of who, when or why.
His memory will live on, but he will be missed by many.

I remember how much Alex cared so much. What a wonderful friend he always was. I remember when we were in high school, Alex and I became real close. I knew he was probably the most real person I was going to meet there. He was always straight forward and honest. He helped me through hard times. We used to talk all night long. We would get yelled at by both our parents to get off the phone...but the conversations never stopped. We always had so much to talk about. Its been a long time since I was able to talk to Ziggy. Our lives went separate ways. I am so glad I was able to spend the time with him that I could. He made a permanent and Lasting affect on my life. I am sure many people feel the same way. To a great friend...we will miss you always and we will NEVER FORGET YOU. Love Ya Zig.

Ziggy was a great friend. He will be missed dearly. His time on this earth was too short, but he lived life to the fullest. He lived the life he loved and we can all learn a lot from that.
