What an incredible lost! Over 20 years of friendship as well as a business colleague from our days at Bostomatic to Mikron and then becoming competitors with Methods. I truly admired him for his faith in God, his incredible love for his wife and his five wonderful kids. His number one passion was his family and ensuring their well-being even during troubled times. When he moved to Brooklyn, he extended his fatherly love to my son Brandon who married his neighbor’s daughter. Brandon loves manufacturing so Henry enjoyed sharing his knowledge and experiences.
During our home visits or “let’s get together for lunch” or even passing by on the road, family was our first catch up, followed by friendly business conversation along with some head butting about who has the most accuracy machine tool. We shared so much in common with family being first.
God provided Henry with a gifted talent for application engineering. He realized this and grew to be one of the best in the industry fostered in part by the application team we had for so many years with Norman, Gerry, Ernie, Dan and Nick. We all had our “man egos”, striving to be better than the day before while placing the customer first. This team became the “old band” which I truly miss yet the loss of Henry is quite painful. So many great memories.
It was a great honor for the family to have chosen Brandon to perform the eulogy and entrusting him to deliver the family’s final message while briefly sharing his personal experience that he had with Henry. There is no question about it, Henry would have been so proud of him just like he was with all of his children.
What a joy to have personally known him and being part of his life. With his faith in God, I have comfort knowing that he is celebrating his prize with the Lord.
With tremendous love to his family, we are always here for you. Gary and Joanne Zurek

Henry and I met at Boston Digital Corp. in the machine shop and worked alongside each other for years. The challenges of learning such a difficult trade were enormous. Henry was so eager to learn and work his way up the credibility ladder. He was truly a fantastic machinist and CNC programmer. We always liked to debate the best ways for accomplishing difficult tasks. After years and years of working our way up in the machining trade we eventually ended up together as Applications Engineers in the engineering dept. At that time we viewed this as such an accomplishment but as time went on we eventually lost focus to what an achievement this actually was. Especially at Boston Digital and the talented people who worked there. Without ever having to say it I was always proud of him and considered him one of my favorite people. I will always remember the good times we had working trade shows and company events. My sincere condolences to his family. Henry was a great man! Rest in peace Henry.

We never had the pleasure of meeting Henry, but have gotten to know his son Scot over the last few years, and we are sure Scot is a direct reflection of his father. He did an amazing job raising and sending into the world; a kind, funny and caring person. As we’re sure he did with all of his kids. Sending the Demers family our love during this difficult time. To the Demers Family,
Henry was just a wonderful guy all around. I met him back in my days with GF/Micron some 18 to 20 years ago and he was just a wonderful person have met and I quickly enjoyed his laugh and humor and also quickly saw the skill and pride he took in his work. Of course I was very happy to see Henry again when we both met back at Methods and there was no slowing him down as he still had the same passion and humor which made him a joy to work with.
Henry was a big part of the Methods family and know he was loved by many!
God Bless and comfort you in this difficult time but hope you are comforted in knowing our hearts and thoughts are with you.

Henry became a good friend of mine when we worked together at Methods Machine Tools. As a colleague, he was simply a brilliant Applications Engineer and a tremendous help with anything you'd ever ask for.
Most importantly, he was a genuinely nice person who shared a lot of common interests with me.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends - like many, I'll miss Henry and think of him often.
