Obituary of Thomas Clifton Pearson
Thomas Clifton Pearson, 52, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at his home in Woodstock Valley, Connecticut. He was born May 3, 1955 in Worcester, Massachusetts, son of the late Paul and Margaret Pearson. Tom's first wife, Deborah Anne Weroniecki Pearson passed away in 1993. Tom leaves behind his second wife and partner of many years Deborah Anne (Pratt), his eldest daughter, Desiree Lucy Champagne and her husband Robert, his second daughter, Jennaway Jamie Pearson, and his son, Thomas John Paul Pearson. In addition to his beloved wife and children, Tom is survived by two brothers, David and Ross Pearson, his first mother-in-law, Lucille Weroniecki, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tom was self-employed since the age of seventeen. As a lifelong craftsman, he maintained a standard of perfection in every project. He owned multiple businesses including Tom's Auto Body and Performance Marine, both of Oxford, Massachusetts. Tom loved spending time with his family and was looking forward, with great anticipation, to the arrival of Desiree's son, his first grandchild. In recent years, Tom took pride and joy in caring for the horses and chickens on his farm in Woodstock. He was eagerly awaiting the day when he could retire to be a full-time Grandpa and farmer. His family and friends most appreciated Tom's sense of humor, and his loyalty and devotion to those close to his heart. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Pearson Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Saint Anne's School, P.O. Box 818, Webster, Massachusetts 01570.
