I miss you, my friend. I miss the laughs and the wonderful conversations. I will always remember your compassion and the great times we had at the historical society.

I miss Dagmar. I'd see her and we'd smile with a few words shared at the post office, the meetings of the Eastford Senior Citizens and other unexpected places around the area. She was so bright (smart) and deeply aware of others and their characteristics. Her sense of humor was revealed in quips and observations that had subtle humor.
My sympathies are with her entire family; especially Becky, whom I know the best. I loved reading her obituary with the long list of family names. May all of you be consoled that her memory will live on forever.
Rest in peace, Dagmar. Thank you for all you did while you were with us.

My beloved grandmother, childhood playmate, travel companion, Skipbo partner, yoga buddy, and friend of my whole life.
You once wrote me a birthday card, "We have been good to one another these...years." Indeed. 42 years of love. 42 years of friendship. 42 years of feeding me leftovers. 42 years of playing games. 42 years of walks. 42 years of talks. 42 years of waving goodbye, smiling, at the front door--I don't remember a time I left without it!
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
My heart longs for you who are everywhere and nowhere all at once.
Your devoted granddaughter,
Dagmar the Younger (now Dagmar the Only)
